Evaluations

Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist will conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on the client’s needs using a combination of standardized assessments, naturalistic and systematic observations, speech/language sampling, and client/parent/caregiver reports. 

Groups

Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist holds social skills and stuttering groups for children of all ages. 

Advocacy

Beyond Words will help clients, parents, and caregivers to understand IEPs, treatment plans, and various other documents. Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist has extensive experience working in school districts and can also serve as an advocate at IEP meetings.

Therapy

Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist provides speech and language therapy to treat communication disorders. Therapy will focus on clients’ individualized speech and language goals, determined based on an evaluation. 

Parent Coaching

Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist can demonstrate various communication strategies to help the client. Parents or caregivers will be given an opportunity to use those strategies in front of the speech-language pathologist, who will provide feedback.

Consultations

Beyond Words’ speech-language pathologist can consult with school staff or other healthcare professionals to provide strategies and counsel regarding clients’ communication needs.
